GIVE! For SMS Spring Enrichment Programs
We are at risk of not being able to support the spring enrichment programs — such as Theater Expresso, and Crocodile River Music — for the school assemblies. The program cost for all grades is about $10k-$15k ($3k-$5k+ per enrichment). It is not too late if we can work together right now.
An easy way to increase the impact of your donation is through corporate gift matching. Consider donating $25-$50 and see if your company will match your donation. Turn that $25 into $50 or $75!
In our research, comparable PTOs ask for $75 per family to cover costs and those contributions are usually company matched. Let’s do that for SMS too!
Help Support Fun, Learning, & Community
We are a volunteer-run nonprofit supporting students, teachers, and families through fundraising, enrichment, and community events. All activities are volunteer-led and enhance the educational environment at Sharon Middle School.

Our annual budget to support these activities for the entire school is $35,000. We hope that you will consider supporting the SMS PTO at a level you are comfortable with.​ As a 501c3 charitable organization, your support may be tax-deductible.
Your Gift Helps Make SMS Shine
PTO Supporter: $25
Supports an in-school enrichment for a student
Maroon: $50
Supports an in-school enrichment for a student + appreciation lunch for 2 teachers.
Gold: $100
Provides a stipend to 1 teacher for additional classroom materials.​
Soaring Eagle: $200
Supports a community building event like an ice-cream social for 40 students.
Golden Wings: $500
Supports an in-school enrichment program for 20 students.

Corporate Gift Matching
Many companies offer matching gift programs that double — or even triple — employee donations to nonprofits. For example, if you donate $50 and your company offers a 1:1 match, your gift becomes $100 at no extra cost to you. Here’s how it usually works:

Contact your company's HR department or go to your company’s HR website to find out if corporate gift matching is available. You can also search for your company here.

Double or triple your gift simply by filling out a a short matching gift form with your company's HR department. You may need to include the below information on the form:

Join the PTO
Your financial contribution will support the work PTO does throughout the school year. Although we are thrilled to have you volunteer some of your time as well, joining PTO does not mean you are donating your time or that you need to attend meetings. Our single biggest revenue source for all we do is memberships so every family that joins makes a difference.
